A journey of the soul...

In this page we hope to provide poems, ideas, and other items for the soul.

This first piece is located on a trail marker near the beginning of the Appalachian Trail
at Amicalola State Park in Georgia. We feel it also captures the spirit of our journey
across the country.

Remote for detachment;
Narrow for chosen company;
Winding for leisure; lovely
for contemplation, it beckons
not merely north and south,
but upward to the body,
mind and soul of man.
