Day off

Brian’s Version

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Joan’ Version

Finally, a day off!  After consuming nearly the entire batch of 20 pancakes, Brian laid low while Aunt Barbara and Shelley explored Yellowstone. Brian claimed he needed "ten sleep" as he lounged around the RV.  I worked on the camper as he closely observed my tool techniques. I’m proud and completely surprised at my new-found skills which include waste dumping and filter changing, ‘tho I still haven’t mastered CB.  We mustered the energy to ride our bicycles to a radio interview at KODI AM 1400. For the first time in our 10 years of togetherness, Brian spoke more in a conversation than I and luckily it was recorded, so if this is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, we’ve got it on tape!

We’re pretty amazed at each other’s strength and growth from this trip. I’d always said if we could find a project that capitalized on each of our talents, we’d find happiness together. Guess we’ve found it. I call Brian the ‘head and hands’ of the trip and myself the ‘heart and soul’ as he plots and pedals the ride and I feel and promote it.
